This kid. He has taken off reading like none of us had ever dreamed. For the last three weeks, we have been slowly collecting the new words that he reads in the program (we Love All About Reading!) and adding them to a post it and sticking it to the door.
To see his face light up as he watches the pile grow larger and larger has been worth every painstaking moment from this year. He giggles like a school girl every time we have to get lower and lower to find more room.
We have used this as a center (he stands and gets to choose to read either 10 free choice or 10 blue, 10 pink and so on). He has also loved bringing anyone and everyone in to show them just how much he can read.
