This Christmas season is flying by so quickly.
A lot of that has to do with the fact that we've been far busier than we ever have been in the past.
First of all, Ava's ballet recital was coming up. She has been counting down the days and has been so excited. We have been over to the theater almost every day this week and she has worked so hard to memorize her dance and practices every chance she gets.
The night of the recital, these girls were a bundle of excited energy.
She is so lucky to have such wonderful friends with her in class that are also her very best friends in her primary class.
After her recital, her brothers surprised her with a set of flowers from each of them. She told me she felt like a princess and that it was her "Best day of her whole life!"
Jenn and John and their family came to support her and when they handed her a little gift bag, she squealed with delight.
Afterwards, we took her to Menchies to celebrate.
It was a great ending to a great night. She's worked so hard and deserves a night all about her!
Christmas also means a trip to our mall to chat with the big guy. This is the first year doing this without my mom and it feels strange without her!
Grant's Secret Santa surprised him with a giant Hershey's Kiss. He was so happy he literally sat and starred at it not daring to eat it yet.
This month also brought with it Kurt's advancement from a white let to a yellow belt.
We were lucky enough to have Grandma and Grandpa here with us and happened to be with us on his test day. He was so excited to have everyone there to support him.
Now we only have 16 more shopping days left until Christmas!!????
Yikes! I better get to it!
