March Maddness

We've been busy!

The last few months we've been diving deeper into weather for school.  It seems to be a perfect time, as Mother Nature already surprised us with a winter storm and now has not let up on the rain coming every few days. 

We even had an impromptu makerspace (I asked them to build something to do with the wind) and then took a “wind walk” 

Then, once the sun came out and the rain went away- we couldn't just LEARN about the weather.  We needed to EXPERIENCE it!  So we met up with our other homeschool besties and spent the afternoon in the wonderful water.  

While we were out, Kurt spotted a weather vane (we've been investigating them at length) and ran to me and asked to use my camera to capture it.  Yes Please!

We've spent some much needed time outside in the sun. 

The kids have also worked hard and progressed to yellow belts in karate

Of course, we had to celebrate after! 

and Ava got to spend a week in California with cousins Phi and Freyja in what she lovingly calls, "Girls Time".

This last month has been so busy with school, field trips, karate among everything else- but once again, I look back and choose to only see the fun.
