The kidlettes are growing every day. That's why we decided to post and show you just how much they've accomplished.
From crossing international borders

(Happy 7 month birthday babies! Welcome to Canada.)
to staying happy after 8 hours in a small confined space.

Sibling rivalry only showed up once or twice.
"You eat my toes"...
"...and I'll pull your hair".

When we arrived in Calgary, friends and family welcomed us with open arms

and surprised us with welcomed gifts.

Big brother is learning to "Jump" down stairs.
You'll be happy to know he only fell twice the first day and now is a true pro!
The babies are eating,
playing

and as always, sleeping whenever they choose (which for some isn't often).
Bubba is scooting around on all fours.
He gets up, rocks back and forth and then sort of catapults himself forward. It may be awkward and not the best approach, but it sure works for him.
Sissy has decided she's going to sleep her life away. Honestly, you wouldn't believe that I actually have to go into her room and wake her up in the mornings. Where is my little drama queen that used to wake us up talking and crying all hours of the night? She has started teething on everything, and I do mean everything!
Maybe since she is quite "intense" the rest of the time, she has decided that when she's teething, she'll be a peach.
Two teeth came in yesterday and she's been as happy as a clam.
We've been dealing with the weather change. The first week it was 25 (about 80 degrees for us) so we spent a lot of time outside.

And when it dropped to 18 (about 70 for us), we braced ourselves and continued life as usual.

Kurt has used his new tools ("toos") from the Loonie store ($1 store) to fix anything and everything around the house. As a mechanic himself, Mike has graciously agreed to take him under his care and show him the ropes.
Hopefully Grandma appreciates the hard work he's put into fixing her piano stool.
Ava has began to sit on her own.
She's always been pretty good at it, but lately it's like she woke up one day and said, "Yep. I'll be sturdy now and sit like a big girl."
We've gone to parties (happy birthday Mike!)

and discussed the game with the big boys.

We're keeping clean

and loving the help that family provides.

Katie and Mike gave Kurt a dump truck when we first arrived, and since then the big boys have wanted some for themselves.
Now to see them all play together just makes me smile.

I guess it's true- big boys never grow old of their little toys.

So, here's hoping the next week goes by swiftly before we return home, but not so swiftly that we miss out on all of the great moments we've been having here at "Camp Calgary" with our wonderful Grandma and Grandpa Pitcher.
We love you! Keep the fires burning at home and before you know it, we'll be back filling your life with chaos and comedy.
Love, the Shillig Crew.
