The Terrible Twos

 Somehow time slipped away from me (as it always does) and my babies turned TWO! 

Their birthday was a quiet, happy day.  We went out to eat as a little family and then stopped on our way home to pick up some balloons.  They were so excited to see their "loons" and Sissy kept pointing to the princess ones and saying, "Sissy.  Me!"  Yep, my dear, you sure are a princess.  And we love you both!

For their birthday, I wanted to go somewhere that we could all get together, but with fun activities for the big kids.  Since my kids are the youngest (by about 10 years!) that's important to me when planning a party. 

So naturally, Jumpin' Jacks was a perfect place.  As you can see, everyone enjoyed themselves regardless of their age!  Sorry mom.  I just love these photos though.  Looking through them, you'd think the kids didn't have any fun at all by the looks on their faces.  Quite the contrary though, each time they went down the slide, the asked to go right back up!

It was such a fun night to laugh and talk and visit.  I especially loved that I didn't have to do any decorating or cleaning up!  That's my kind of party!

After a few hours of jumping, we met upstairs in the jungle room and had pizza and cupcakes.  As you can see, the twins didn't waste any time diving right in!  Bubba was so nice to help his sister blow out her candle, and Sissy wore every piece of her birthday all at once!  Aunt Jenn crowned her with a princess crown and she could be seen toting her new "Tiny Tiny" baby in her stroller, with her new heels.  Boy oh boy, what a treat we're in for in the years to come!

That night, the kids were so tired from the party that we left their gifts in the trunk (just while they were getting ready for bed).  The next morning, I got up before all the kids and set out Bubba's "Train Tunnel", sissy's Tiny Tiny and stroller and all of the balloons.  You would have thought it was Christmas morning the way they squealed with delight!

So as another year passes, we're reminded of just how lucky we are to have you both.  You make our days (and nights) exciting and they joy in our home is almost palpable.  Happy birthday to our Twinners!
