Little Mermaid Jr.

"Look at this stuff...isn't it neat?  Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?"

We have had the BEST time with our homeschool friends participating in the Children's Musical Theater for the production of The Little Mermaid Jr. 

It was an intense montf of singing, learning new dances and parts, 

meeting new friends, 

And having new experiences (like dancing with a girl for the first time!) 

We met some of our best friends

and made memories to last us a lifetime.

The kids in the show were talented, dedicated and just wonderful to be around. 

There were two casts for the play, and we all agreed- our cast was the BEST!

Everything from the costumes, to the make up, the songs and the staging.  It was a great experience for these "Poor Unfortunate Souls".

Backstage was a lot of waiting and practice in patience, but I was happy that the kids got to see all of the hard work that went into something like this.  All of the time that all of the volunteers put in, I'm hoping that when we go to shows now they understand just a little bit more of what dedication it takes to create something like this.  

What a great time we had, "Under the Sea" and for us, we can't wait to do it again next year!
