For our first Social Studies introduction, we are starting right where we should- with our own little family. Today we talked about who was in our immediate family.
We made a house out of popsicle sticks and drew each family member inside.
It's fun to see their progress in drawing and writing. Somehow I missed when Ava was able to write everyone's name in our family. It must have happened over night!
And I was excited to see that Vance's drawings are progressing to the point that everyone has hands and eyes and even ears. It's a true kindergarten portrait!
I sure love our little family!
