As we've been talking about community helpers, we listed a number of different occupations and when we got to Dentist, the kids were excited to talk about Uncle Jeremy's office when they were there last. This time even though we just returned from Colorado with them, there wasn't enough time to squeeze in a cleaning, so we opted to go closer to home instead.
It was a great experience! Once again we are fortunate enough to get to homeschool, and when you do, you go to the Dentist not only as a field trip for school- but also to get a cleaning (mark that off my to-do list!)
And the best part? When you can go that early in the morning, there aren't a lot of others there.
The kids were great! They were kind, they listened quickly and not one of them had a single cavity.

And Vance loved getting new toothbrushes.
They are good little teeth brushers!
Even if all they really liked about going to the Dentist was playing!
Grant LOVED brushing the puppets. Each time he did, he'd say "Aaahhhh!" Adorable.
What a great field trip! Score one for the mom AND the teacher!
