While in Colorado, though we didn't technically have school, we still got to go on an EPIC field trip.
We drove over to Fruita and saw the Dinosaur Journey Museum.

We had so much fun checking out all of the fossils and finds-
And of course the gigantic dinosaurs!
We saw bones longer than our arm,
Dug for fossils,
and got a little cozy with some of the skull fossils!
Right as we walked in and went through the gift shop, Mema made the mistake of showing Grant a soft and fuzzy dinosaur. He immediately latched onto it and NEVER let it go. On the bright side, he and Cash don't fight over the one soft puppy at home anymore. Now they both have their own softie!

We loved making the dinosaurs talk,
and were amazed at how life like they were!
For a spur of the moment field trip, it was colossal!
